Hi! The girl behind these photos is Simone Diederich, 27 years old, from The Netherlands. Next to my busy study, law, I'd love to take photos. Since I've had a mobile phone with a camera I'd tried to figure out how to make the coolest photos. Unfortunately I never did anything with it. When I studied journalism I had a blog for 3 years and I wanted to take as much pictures possible by myself. So, finally, 5 years ago, I bought a DSLR! The pictures I made looked like typical Instagram-worthy photos. I have to say, it was boring and those typical Instagram photos aren't creative at all! I'd like to stand out, give new perspectives. When I started my law study I deleted my blog and my DSLR rusted away.
In august 2017, I had a rough summer (studying, studying, studying). In a busy study like this you don't have much free time but it started to itch to do something creative. That is what I am: creative. I'd love to cook and experiment in the kitchen, write, play piano. So why not photographing again? I decided to treat myself with my first lens: the 50mm. And so it began...
Since I'm not active that long in photography, I didn't manage yet to do all kinds of photography I'd like to do. I'd like to work with people more, but also experimenting in street photography.
